Despite the heavy rain throughout the state, 77 members on two buses were able to enjoy the adjusted program of visiting Banksia Nursery, Wantirna South instead of the William Ricketts Sanctuary. Armed with umbrellas and baskets we were able to find that perfect gift, plants and also enjoy the cafe.
Our large group was looked after very well at the RACV Healesville for lunch and even Santa visited to spread the festive cheer.
One busload headed back to Camberwell after lunch, while the other bus diverted to the Yarra Valley Chocolatier to satisfy the sweet tooths.
A Merry Christmas to all and a fabulous 2019 program in the New Year to enjoy.
