A slightly later start today for our Mystery Trip, all 51 members boarding the bus at 10am. Not a very long trip - in fact still within the City of Boroondara!! Our mystery venue was to the Maranoa Gardens in Balwyn, where we had mornig tea followed by a guided tour of the lovely gardens. The garden boasts over 4000 Australian natives plants from all regions of the country, and is divided into various zones; temperate heathland, arid rockery, dry forest and rainforest.
Our trip continued with a delicious lunch at the Harp Hotel in Kew, at tables by the large windows basking in the autumn sunshine.
Thank you to Margaret and Karin for organising another enjoyable day out.
