Thursday 15 October 2015, 29 members were able to enjoy the gardens and nursery of Kurinda Rose Nursery (404 Warragul-Lardner Road, Warragul). It was a warm day and we enjoyed morning tea in the shade and wandered in the very picturesque garden. They have roses for sale at very reasonable prices, including some of the older varieties.
We had a good lunch at the Kings Arms, Neerim South and then headed to the Drouin Nursery (937 Prices Way, Drouin), where Peter gave us a warm welcome and chat. The nursery had enticing plants to buy and many quirky bits and pieces such as the old out-house.
It was a lovely full day and so was the bus with all our purchases.
