Wolf have launched a new product Composting Cannon which is made of 3 cardboard cylinders buried ¾ into the garden with holes for worms to enter and eat the compost, which is pushed down with a plunger and has a mesh top.  This will breakdown and replacement cartridges are available.

Gareth explained the differences between Bypass and Anvil type loppers.  Bypass are for younger, greener stems, while the anvil is for harder, thicker stems.  He demonstrated the 3m telescopic model.  He also brought a large range of secateurs.  The pruning saw can be connected to the telescopic pole, and can be cleaned with a wire brush and sprayed after use.  He also demonstrated the light weight battery powered grass trimmer/hedge trimmer.

Cleaning should be done after use, using a green scourer and soapy water to remove sap then lubricated, using olive oil, vegetable oil and lanolin spray before storing, as plant acids can eventually eat through steel.
