Pat welcomed Diana and Graeme Sargeant from Silkies Rose Farm, Clonbinane.
Diana outlined the growth and expansion of the family rose business and café from the original location in Kilmore to the opening of the second nursery in 1996 in Clonbinane.
One of the special achievements was introducing the prize winning Tracey Wickham rose into Victoria. Diana stressed the importance of using environmentally sound organic plant products such as eco oil, fungicides and seaweeds for healthy roses. Graeme illustrated the careful and attractive method of packaging of roses which are sent all over Australia.
