Helen Lovell from Neutrog, explained that Neutrog is a family owned Australian business started in 1988. It is located on 60 acres in Kanmantoo, South Australia. Originally aimed at supplying farms and market gardens, before branching out into retail, their products can be found in all major stores and nurseries. Their product ‘Impact for Roses’ is endorsed by rose growers around the country, and is considered a major factor in the success of the famous display of 16,000 roses at the Flemington Racecourse.
Helen gave a power point presentation showing Neutrog’s many products and their uses. We were informed about Neutrog’s ‘Poobah Foundation’ established to help community organisations, and the benefits for members joining the ‘Poobah’ Club include information and discounts. Helen also encouraged members to be in contact through Facebook, as Neutrog would appreciate any feedback from gardener’s experience with Neutrog products.
