Penny shared her rich and extensive knowledge of some 20 different herbs with colourful visuals of the many varieties and cultivars now available. Ideas for growing these useful plants might be in pots, as a green wall, a parterre or in a mixed vegetable and herb garden.

She explained the many uses of different herbs whether for pain relief, soothing teas, aiding digestion, repelling pests and adding leaves or edible flowers to cooking.
