Peter has enjoyed a long association with the nursery industry in Silvan, the Greenery and Pinewood nurseries.
Peter showed some unusual new release hydrangeas with magenta flowers and toning deep leaf colouring. He recommended a morning sun location, heavy prune in winter and feeding to maintain pink or blue colour in the blooms.
Other summer flowering ideas included lavenders, petunias and salvias along with shade loving impatiens.
Peter responded to many garden queries including the perennial possum issue- his own solution was to actually provide food for the possums!
